As colder weather arrives, we want to ensure our students stay safe each morning. When the temperature is below 40 degrees, we will open the building doors after zero hour begins to allow students to come inside. We encourage students to dress warmly for the season, but rest assured that we’ll make every effort to provide a warm and welcoming space on chilly mornings. Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our students safe and ready to learn!
Gunn Junior High PTA is excited to host Reflections this year! Reflections is a Texas PTA and National PTA program that encourages students to explore their creativity through the arts. This year’s theme invites Gators to share their unique voice through dance, film, literature, music, photography, and visual arts. WELCOME CECIL TILLER
Mr. Tiller joins us as the SEAS Teacher. He is a a graduate of Tennesee State University. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Master’s in Special Education. He also has the Behavior Endorsement from Region 10. Mr. Tiller has been in education for more than 15 years.
Mr. Tiller says “Every day, I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where every student feels seen, valued, and capable of success. I’m passionate about supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally, and I believe every child has the potential to succeed when given the right tools and encouragement.”
