Planning Your Maker Faire Project You've got a great idea for the maker faire. time to make a plan.

You brainstormed a great idea for your Maker Faire Project. Now what?

Time to make a plan.

Think...what materials will you need for your project?

Make a list of the materials you will need. Do you already have some of these materials at home?

Some places you can purchase materials include...

  • a dollar store
  • a craft store (Michaels, JoAnn's etc...)
  • online

Talk to your parents about how to obtain these materials.

If you're having trouble obtaining materials, please reach out to Ms. Evelyn, Ms. Maletta or Ms. Yaloz.

Draw a picture of what your final project will look like.

Label it stating where each material will go.

Think about how your final project will be displayed at the Maker Faire.

Will people be interacting with your project? How will they know what to do? Will you include a set of directions?

Remember, Maker Faire Projects are due May 17th.

Decide when you will work on this project. Be sure to give yourself plenty of extra time just in case you encounter a problem.

The next step is to start creating or building your Maker Faire Project!
