BIG 12 BEARCATS
Cincinnati Joined the Big 12 on July 1, 2023. In the program's inaugural season in the conference, Bearcats had 10 podium finishes at the indoor conference championships
Cincinnati competes at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics with the vision to reach Next Level Success for all 18 varsity teams and more than 450 student-athletes. The Bearcats have a proud athletics history, winning eight national championships and 118 conference titles.
ALL-AMERICAN HISTORY
41 Different Bearcats have combined to earn 77 All-America honors in program history. Most recently, Juliette Laracuente-Huebner earned indoor All-America honors in the pentathlon at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
At the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships, Juliette Laracuente-Huebner (14th- Heptathlon), Dominique Hall (15th- Decathlon) and Abby Knouff (15th- Pole Vault) earned Second Team All-America Honors.
- Men's All American History
- 22 individuals have earned 36 honors
- Since 2012 11 men have earned 18 honors
- Al Lanier and Adrian Valles are the most decorated men's UC athletes in program history. Both earned six All-America honors during their careers, and both finished as national runner-ups in their respective events.
- Women's All-American History
- 19 individuals have earned 41 honors
- Since 2012: 16 women have earned 38 honors
- Annette Echikunwoke won the programs first natitonal title in 2017 (indoor weight throw)
- Loretta Blout's six career All-American honors made her the most decorated UC women's track and field athlete in program history
BEARCAT OLYMPIANS
A pair of Bearcat greats not only represented the United States at the Olympic Games but also captured medals. Mary (Danner) Wineberg was part of the gold-medal winning 4x400m relay team and David Payne earned a silver medal in the 110m hurdles at the 2008 Bejing Games
NCAA Champion Annette Echikunwoke earned her spot on the Nigerian Track and Field Olympic Team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the hammer throw.

Located in the Uptown Area, the campus is part of a booming area of redesign and renewal aimed at making the area one of the best locations not only in the city but anywhere!
CAMPUS LIVING
The Deacon, one of UC’s newest off-campus housing communities, offers a unique experience for its residents. Its distinctive amenities, including a movie theater, arcade and lounge room give students options for study breaks, while spacious apartment units provide them with a comfortable and modern place to study, focus, and unwind. Students who live at The Deacon are academically focused and impactful leaders who use their skills to serve the community around them.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS
The department posted a 3.42 overall GPA, its 12th-straight semester with a 3.3 or higher. Sixty student-athletes earned TopCat honors (4.0 GPA), 277 more made the Dean's List (62 percent) and 359 (81 percent) earned Honor Roll accolades for posting a 3.0. The latter two represent the highest in school history. Overall, all 16 programs posted a 3.0-or-higher team GPA, with nine surpassing a 3.5. The top men's and women's GPAs belonged to cross country (3.58) and volleyball (3.74), respectively, with the latter serving as the program's best all-time.
