Few things feel as good as sharing a smile with a stranger and getting a smile in return.
This simple act connects us to members of our community–one person to another–if only for a moment. A smile is something we can share freely and never run out.
What if your smile brought ridicule, embarrassment or shame?
Everyone should have a healthy smile that they’re happy to share!
Together, we can build awareness of dental health inequities, the effect it has on children as they grow, and actions people can take to help.

Spread awareness on your social networks!
Download our free social media kit to post all month long! Or simply share a few posts—it's up to you! Build awareness about why smiling is important and how some children don't have healthy smiles because not all communities have access to dental services.
Post topics include:
Quotes about the power of a smile, the neuroscience of smiling, why some kids lack access to dental care, how an unhealthy smile impacts kids into adulthood, communities that struggle to access care, careers that help kids have healthy smiles, how America's ToothFairy increases access to care and how to get involved.

Education is the first step to prevention!
Our free educational materials outline what causes dental disease, what happens when you delay treatment, how poor oral health in childhood affects us into adulthood, and how a career in dentistry can make dental care more accessible to marginalized communities.
We add new resources each year, including educational materials that can be used during summer enrichment programs, camps, and back-to-school events. Plus fun presentations, crafts and experiments to teach kids about oral health!
Materials are available for kids at a 4th, 6th, and 9th grade reading levels, and for caregivers at a 6th grade reading level.
Visit ShareYourSmileCampaign.com for an online version of the educational materials.
