The 2025 Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championship will be hosted at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort on April 26-27.
Day one of the championship will feature 36 holes of competition using a traditional-style start.
Admission to the championship is free. Spectators must remain at least 15 yards from participants and stay on cart paths and in roughs. No communication shall be permitted between spectators and participants while a round is underway.
Spectators with a medical need that warrants the use of a golf cart may rent one at the Pro Shop. Carts will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Carts must remain on the path at all times. If a spectator does not adhere to the cart path rules, they will be asked to leave the facility. In all cases, Shawnee Inn will authorize the use of carts during the Landmark Championship and determine the appropriate number of carts that may be out on the course at one time

About Shawnee Golf
Located on the grounds of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, the Shawnee Island Course is the crown jewel of the property. It was completed in 1910, a year before the Inn was built, and is A.W. Tillinghast’s first-ever design.
The course has tee-to-green irrigation, ensuring the best Pocono golf conditions possible.
2024 Recap
Catholic University claimed the 2024 championship by an impressive 43-stroke margin, finishing with a two-day total of 629 (+53). The Cardinals posted a 314 (+26) in the final round, improving their opening-round score of 315 to pull away from the competition. Drew finished as the runner-up with a 672 (+96), while Scranton took third with a 710 (+134).
Lauren Lombardo led the way for Catholic, earning Low Medalist honors and being named Landmark Conference Player of the Year after defeating Drew’s Kayla Diaz in a one-hole playoff. Lombardo became just the second player in program history to win the outright individual title, finishing at 148 (+4) after a stellar even-par final round.
2024 Fall Preview Recap
Catholic finished its fall campaign in style by winning the Landmark Conference Women's Golf Preview, held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The Cardinals shot a two-day total of 651 (+36) to win the preview by 13 strokes over second-place Drew University.
Individually, Catholic's Brooke Smith earned medalist honors as she shot a two-day total of 156 (80-76). Smith improved on her Saturday round by four shots to tie the low score before winning Low Medalist honors with a birdie in a playoff with Susquehanna's Kennedy Petrovich. The Cardinals occupied three of the top five spots on the leaderboard with Petrovich tying for first with a score of 156 (77-79), while Avery Mrak placed fourth with a 162 (77- 85) and Lauren Wright finished fifth with a 163 (82-81). Drew's Josephine Nguyen shot a 158 (79-79) to place third.
2025 CHAMPIONSHIP POLL
Two-time defending champion Catholic was picked as the favorite to win the 2025 Landmark Conference Women’s Golf Championship, earning nine of the 10 available first-place votes and a total of 81 points.
Drew, which finished as the runner-up a year ago, received the remaining first-place vote and placed second in the poll with 72 points. Susquehanna (64) and Scranton (56) followed closely, in third and fourth, while Goucher (43), Juniata and Moravian (33), Elizabethtown (31), Wilkes (26), and Marywood (11) completed the 10-team field.
Catholic University

The Catholic women’s golf team has found success at Shawnee Golf Course, capturing back-to-back Landmark Conference titles. With a deep and experienced roster, the Cardinals are aiming for a third-consecutive championship.
Catholic has steadily widened the gap at the top of the conference in recent years. In 2023, the Cardinals secured the Landmark title with a team total of 661, finishing 14 strokes ahead of runner-up Drew (675). Last season, they improved significantly, carding a 629 to extend their winning margin over runner-up Drew (672) to 43 strokes.
At the Fall Preview, Brooke Smith showcased her composure under pressure, earning medalist honors with a two-day total of 156 (80-76). She improved her score by four strokes on Sunday to tie for the low round, then secured the title with a birdie in a playoff against Susquehanna’s Kennedy Petrovich. Catholic’s depth was on full display, as three Cardinals finished among the top five on the leaderboard.
Smith, a two-time First Team All-Landmark selection (2023, 2024) and the 2023 Rookie of the Year, will be joined by reigning Landmark Conference Player of the Year Lauren Lombardo, who returns after earning first-team honors for the third-straight season in 2024. Lauren Wright, who earned a second-team selection in 2023 and a first-team nod last season, continues to be a key contributor. Avery Mrak has provided consistency, picking up second-team honors in both 2023 and 2024, while Mary McGuire collected a second-team selection last year.
Drew University

Drew finished as the runner-up in 2024 and will look to close the gap on Catholic this season. The Rangers have been knocking on the door in recent years, steadily improving their team score and depth, and now they are aiming to take the next step.
Josephine Nguyen led the charge at the Fall Preview with a third-place finish and boasts an impressive 76.56 scoring average, making her one of the top returning players in the conference. Roxy Riles, a two-time First Team All-Landmark selection (2023, 2024), will be a key piece in Drew’s pursuit of the title. Cassie Sengul earned a 10th-place finish at the Fall Preview, while Isabella Borte and Emily Rhode tied for 14th, giving the Rangers five golfers in the top 15 and a chance to compete for their first title since 2022.
Elizabethtown College

Elizabethtown enters the 2025 Landmark Championship with one of its most experienced rosters, featuring two seniors and three juniors who have competed in multiple conference championships.
Grace Flocco leads the way, bringing three years of conference championship experience. She posted her best finish in 2023, placing 14th, and finished 18th at the 2024 Landmark Fall Preview, which was also held at Shawnee.
The Blue Jays also return Summer McNulty, who gained valuable experience in her first season by finishing in a tie for 30th at the 2024 Landmark Championship.
Goucher College

Goucher has been a steady presence in the Landmark Conference since women’s golf became a varsity sport in 2018, finishing in the top five at every championship. The Gophers’ best showing came in 2021 when they finished as the runner-up.
Maddie Agrusti and Molly Smith bring valuable experience to a squad aiming to extend its streak of top-five finishes. Agrusti has been a consistent performer at the Landmark Championship, finishing 27th as a first-year, 25th in 2023, and tying for 25th in 2024. Smith, who tied for 33rd at the Fall Preview, will also look to step up in her final Landmark Championship.
Rounding out the roster are Katie West, sophomore Jillian Spooner, and Katelynn Roberts. With a mix of veteran leadership and fresh talent, the Gophers will aim to maintain their top-five streak and potentially climb higher on the leaderboard in 2025.
Juniata College

Juniata enters the 2025 Landmark Championship with a young squad. The Eagles are led by their lone veteran Sandy Milby, who will be counted on for leadership.
The only other players with Landmark Championship experience are Kylee Marshall and Lily Stewart, both of whom competed at Shawnee last season. First-year Molly Schweitzer made an early impact for Juniata, pacing the team at the Landmark Fall Preview with a 27th-place finish, just one spot ahead of Stewart in 28th. As a team, the Eagles finished sixth at the preview event. The rest of the roster features four first-years and sophomore Charley Madlock.
Historically, Juniata’s best finish at the Landmark Championship came in 2018, when the team placed fourth in the conference’s inaugural season. Since then, the Eagles have finished seventh in both 2023 and 2024. Their highest finish in the past four championships was fifth in 2020.
Marywood University

Marywood made history as the first-ever Landmark Conference women’s golf champion in 2018, but the Pacers enter the 2025 championship with a young roster.
This year’s squad is packed with fresh faces, featuring four first-years, two sophomores, and one junior. At the Landmark Fall Preview, Anna Galko led the way for Marywood, finishing in a tie for 25th, while Maddie Franceski placed 39th.
Franceski was Marywood’s lone representative at the 2024 Landmark Championship, finishing in a tie for 28th.
Moravian University

Moravian is still in the early stages of its women's golf program, competing in just its second full season as a varsity team in 2024-25.
Izzy Szmodis and Ryan Hausknecht will provide leadership to the team, while Ella Oswald and Heidi Wegscheider bring championship experience to the squad. Wegscheider earned All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2024 after finishing 14th, and she appears poised for another strong showing after tying for eighth at the Fall Preview. Oswald, who placed 23rd at last year’s championship, finished 16th at the preview, putting her in the mix for an All-Conference spot this spring.
Kielie Schoch rounds out the lineup, adding fresh talent to the roster.
University of Scranton

Scranton secured a third-place finish in 2024 and remains a strong contender heading into the 2025 championship, aiming to take the next step toward its first Landmark title.
The Royals return a solid core, led by Alexandra Schaul, a Second Team All-Conference selection last season. Lidia Marranca and Cassandra Weir earned Honorable Mention honors in 2024 and will be key contributors once again. Weir has shown steady improvement at the championship, finishing in a tie for 17th as a first-year player before moving up to 15th last season. Mara Bilenski has added depth to the roster, finishing 22nd at the Landmark Fall Preview.
Scranton has been one of the most consistent teams this season, competing in eight tournaments and earning six top-five finishes, including runner-up performances at the Moravian Invitational, Drew’s Birdie Bash, and the Conquer the Island Tournament, hosted by Drew.
Susquehanna University

Susquehanna is trending in the right direction after finishing third at the Landmark Fall Preview, proving to be a strong contender for the league title. The River Hawks graduated Second Team All-Conference performer Erin Hahn but return key contributors from last year’s sixth-place championship team.
Kennedy Petrovich made an immediate impact at the Fall Preview, entering the final day tied for first before battling Catholic’s Brooke Smith in a playoff for medalist honors. Though Smith prevailed, Petrovich’s performance established her as a serious contender for Player and Rookie of the Year heading into the championship..
Veterans Molly Rohan and Sara Rados provide stability and experience, with Rohan finishing tied for 19th at last year’s championship and Rados tying for 33rd.
This season, Susquehanna has been one of the most consistent teams in the conference, winning all of its dual matches and securing top-five finishes in every tournament.
Wilkes University

In its debut season as a Landmark Conference member, Wilkes made an immediate impact by finishing fifth at the 2024 championship.
The Colonels were led by standout Kyleen McCance, who earned First Team All-Conference honors and was named Rookie of the Year after finishing third overall. McCance has been a consistent force again this season, boasting a 75.4 scoring average with eight top-five finishes, including seventh at the Landmark Fall Preview.
Wilkes has leaned on its experienced roster, four seniors and a junior, along with a core of younger players to build momentum. The Colonels have won four dual matches this year and are aiming to climb higher in the standings with a balanced mix of veteran leadership and emerging talent at the conference championship.
