Biography
Suffragan Bishop James E. Sears, Jr. is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. A devoted man of God, Pastor Sears felt called from an early age to motivate and inspire generations.
In December 2020, he answered the call to expand his ministry and relocated to Columbia, South Carolina. There, in August 2023, he founded Praise & Deliverance Apostolic Church, where he continues to lead with vision and passion.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Sears serves as Chairman of the International Youth Conference for the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International Inc. (PCAFI), under the leadership of Bishop Lambert Gates. In July 2020, he was consecrated to the office of District Elder. In July 2025, he was elevated and elected to the office of Suffragan Bishop-Elect at the 68th International Holy Convocation in Toronto, Canada.
Pastor Sears is committed to building a stronger church and community through Jesus Christ. His life is marked by a deep love for souls and a tireless pursuit of growth and transformation.
He is happily married to Lady Nicole Sears, and together they are the proud parents of three children: Jayden, Janiah, and Jeremiah. His influence continues to bring hope and change to the lives of those he encounters daily, driven by his boundless energy and unwavering faith.
