PSM Recognized by A.M. Best for 63rd Year in a Row
Pioneer State Mutual (PSM) is pleased to announce the reaffirmation of their A+ (Superior) rating by A.M. Best Company. PSM has been rated A+ for 63 consecutive years and is proud to be placed in a top tier and percentage of insurance carriers in the insurance industry for financial stability. In addition to their 2024 rating reaffirmation, PSM was also recognized in the top 200 carriers nationwide for increased net written premiums.
According to A.M. Best Company the purpose of this rating system is to evaluate insurance carrier’s “financial strength and ability to meet its ongoing insurance policy and contract obligations.” Founded in 1899, A.M. Best Company’s sole focus on the insurance industry has been to prevent and detect insurer solvency.
