A big thank you to Mrs Smith who came over and made Gingerbread biscuits with us at the beginning of the week. The children loved rolling them out and cutting them in to lots of different shapes. They had great fun decorating them and of course, eating them at the end! Yummy!
Nursery have been completing top secret Christmas work, so unfortunately you are going to have to wait to see what they've been up to! 🕵️They have had a lot of fun playing with their friends and exploring lots of new resources in their classroom.
Reception have been learning about the Nativity story this week, making angels that they are going to take down to Holy Cross Church next week. They have looked at how people celebrate Christmas and singing songs using Makaton signs. They have been learning about materials, whether they are shiny or dull. As it was the start of Hannukah, they have learnt how light is used in this celebration.
Nursery and Reception celebrated Christmas Jumper Day to raise money for Save the Children. So far we have raised £23.00! Thank you to all the parents for your support 🎄🎅
