Happy New Year Connect!

In declaring this year as one of alignment with our Heavenly Father's business, we embrace a profound spiritual journey guided by Matthew 6:33. This scripture reminds us of the paramount importance of seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. By prioritizing our spiritual growth and aligning our lives with divine principles, we open ourselves to a deeper connection with God and His purpose for us. This alignment calls us to engage actively in our faith, allowing it to influence our decisions, actions, and interactions with others. As followers of Yeshua, this commitment not only enriches our own lives but also serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration to those around us, demonstrating the transformative power of living in alignment with God's will.

Sunday Message Recap

What if the key to transforming our community isn't found in better strategies, but in complete alignment with our King? This Sunday, we explored how Easy Company's Band of Brothers went from struggling soldiers to an unstoppable force—not through harder training, but through heart transformation under the right leader. The same principle applies to us. When we stop building our own kingdoms rooted in fear and instead seek FIRST the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33), everything changes. 2026 is our year of Kingdom Alignment. It's time to crucify our flesh, align our desires with His, and watch as God reclaims territory the enemy has stolen. No more living in fear or self-preservation. We're called to trust our King who goes before us, leads by example, and has already overcome this world. Are you ready to be part of a church fully aligned with God's heart? There's nothing more powerful on earth. Join us as we seek first His kingdom and watch Him add everything else. #KingdomAlignment #SeekFirstTheKingdom #Matthew633 #ChurchUnity #2026Vision

5-Day Devotional: Kingdom Alignment

Day 1: From Fear to Faith

Reading: Matthew 6:25-34 Devotional: Jesus contrasts two kingdoms in this passage: one built on fear, the other on faith. The world's kingdom drives us toward anxiety about provision, appearance, and security. We obsess over what we'll eat, drink, and wear, building our lives on the shaky foundation of self-preservation. But Jesus invites us into a different reality. When we seek first His kingdom and righteousness, we trade fear for faith. We trust a King who goes before us, who knows our needs, and who has already overcome the world. Today, identify one area where fear has been driving your decisions. Surrender it to God and choose to trust His provision instead.

Day 2: The Leadership That Transforms

Reading: John 13:1-17 Devotional: Jesus didn't lead through intimidation or control. He led by example, washing His disciples' feet and demonstrating servant leadership. Like the soldiers of Easy Company who thrived under a leader they could trust, we flourish under Christ's sacrificial leadership. He never asks us to go where He hasn't gone first. He took up His cross before calling us to take up ours. This kind of leadership doesn't demand obedience through fear but inspires alignment through love. When we follow Jesus, we stop asking "How do I survive?" and start asking "How do we accomplish the mission?" Reflect today on whether you're merely obeying Christ out of duty or truly following Him out of trust and love.

Day 3: Dying to Self, Living for the Kingdom

Reading: Galatians 2:20, 5:22-25 Devotional: Kingdom alignment requires death—death to our selfish ambitions, our need for control, and our default self-preservation. We cannot align our hearts with God's heart while clinging to the same desires we've always had. Paul understood this when he wrote, "I have been crucified with Christ." True alignment means crucifying our flesh daily and allowing the Holy Spirit to produce fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. This fruit doesn't grow from self-effort but from surrender. What desires need to die in your life so that Christ's desires can take root? Ask God to break your heart for what breaks His.

Day 4: What We Consume, We Become

Reading: Philippians 4:8-9 Devotional: Kingdom alignment makes us spiritually discerning about what we consume. Paul instructs us to focus on whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and excellent. Why? Because what we consume is what we digest, and what we digest is what we reproduce. If we fill our minds with the world's values—comparison, materialism, fear, division—we will bear worldly fruit. But when we feed on God's truth, we bear kingdom fruit. Our consumption habits reveal our kingdom allegiance. Are you consuming content that aligns with God's kingdom or the world's? Today, audit what you're feeding your mind and heart. Replace one unhealthy consumption habit with time in Scripture or worship.

Day 5: The Power of Corporate Alignment

Reading: Acts 2:42-47 Devotional: The early church experienced explosive growth and supernatural power, not because they were the most talented or resourceful, but because they were aligned. They devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. They shared everything, cared for one another, and moved as one body under one King. When God's people are fully unified and aligned with His purposes, the kingdom of heaven invades earth. Walls fall, captives are freed, and communities are transformed. But this requires us to put one another ahead of ourselves, to reject gossip and division, and to walk in humility. As you close this devotional, pray for unity in your church. Ask God how you can contribute to kingdom alignment rather than division.

Empowering and equipping youth from hard places to build purposeful relationships with Jesus Christ, the earth, and the community. Our vision is rooted in Titus 2:6-8: "Encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything, set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us." We believe in the balance of working hard and playing hard. Through it all, we aim to model and teach the unconditional love of Jesus Christ in everything we do. Our foundation is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers and a small administrative staff, and we rely entirely on donations and grants to sustain our mission.

Connect Businesses

Connect Business is our church-wide directory dedicated to fostering a strong community of support among our congregation members who own businesses. This initiative is a reflection of our commitment to uplift one another in our shared faith. By utilizing the directory, we can easily identify and support the businesses owned by our brothers and sisters in Christ, promoting not only their professional success but also reinforcing the bonds of our spiritual family. Let’s make a conscious effort to patronize these businesses, provide recommendations, and collaborate, thereby creating a thriving network that exemplifies the principles of unity and love within our church community.
