Students from Intermediate Spanish, the final course to earn your Certificate of Proficiency!

Benefits of the Certificate

  • Receive a personalized certificate with information about YOUR level of Spanish: After completing the certificate, you can list your language skills confidently on a resume and be specific about what you can do in Spanish. Upon completion, you are provided with a detailed description of your proficiency level as well as a letter you may provide to future employers letting them know how your language skills will contribute to the workplace.
  • It's more than language proficiency. You're gaining valuable lifelong skills!: Proficiency in more than one language supports intercultural competence, increased cognitive development and abilities, sharpened problem-solving skills, and better reading abilities.
  • Make your credits and requirements work for YOU: Whether you are a Foreign Language major at Butler, or you are transferring Butler courses to another school, completing the certificate will put you on track toward graduation, or even a minor in Spanish at your transfer university!
