Who is eligible to receive the gifted Jeans?
To receive free jeans from this drive you must meet at least one of the the following criteria:
- Be an adolescent girl 8-19 years of age
- Be a Women of ANY AGE who was recently released from incarceration (Meaning a woman released from a prison, jail, or correctional institution within the last year)
How to be a contributor
1. collect donation items:
- New or Gently Worn Jeans (Any size)
2. Turn in your donation

- Drop off your donation items at the Donation Baskets located at the Kingsley Association in East Liberty and/or drop off your items at the Monroeville Assembly of God during their regular business hours

- You can also make your contribution Monetary through Cash App ($BlaireBXB) PLEASE LABEL “More Jeans Please Jean Drive Contribution”
Why a Jean Drive?
I am a fitness instructor, my clients are a lot more like family and they really look out for me. Sometimes they even gift me things. A member of one of my classes begin to bring me in Jeans. I needed them. Then she brought in more Jeans, and then… you guessed it, she bough in even more JEANS. She bought me in boatloads of brand new Jeans. I would keep some and give some away and STILL have more left over. I end up giving some of the Jeans to a teen in an afterschool program and she was so happy and cute with excitement over them, I am assuming because she typically had to wear a uniform for school. Then, a family member of mine was released from incarceration and boldly reignited their life, so of course, I gave them something they had pointed out they really needed that I had plenty of…Jeans! That is when the wheels started to turn for me. In the past I have organized Purse Drives for women experiencing homelessness that many of you helped me achieve great success with! But instead of reviving the purse drive this year I decided to try something else with my newly acquired Jean collection. That’s how the ‘More Jeans Please’ Jean Drive was born. So that is why me and you and everyone else is helping to reach our goal of 400 pair of Jeans for the women and girls of Pittsburgh PA., and I am so very grateful that you are here for the ride. !!MORE JEANS PLEASE!!
Goals
Collect 400 pair of Jeans for women and girls who need them | distribute sanitary napkins with the jeans for teen girls so that they are covered for that time of the month and all women are just covered!
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
The drive begins on Monday April 21 2025 and the last day items will be accepted for collection is Saturday May 10 2025
