Solid geometry is the geometry of three-dimensional (3D) space. A solid figure is the region of 3D space bounded by a two-dimensional closed surface. Solid geometry deals with the measurements of volumes of various solids, including pyramids, prisms, cubes, cylinders, and cones.
Cylinder
A cylinder is a three-dimensional solid that is a prism with a circle as its base. Think of it as two circles connected by straight lines.
Cone
A cone is a three-dimensional geometric shape that tapers smoothly from a flat base that is usually circular, to a point called the apex or vertex. Think of it as a rounded triangular shape with a circle as its base.
Cube
In geometry, a cube is a three-dimensional solid object bounded by six square faces. It has twelve edges and eight vertices. Think of it as four squares connected at their edges
Rectangular Prism
A rectangular prism/cuboid is a special case of a cuboid with rectangular faces in which all of its dihedral angles are right angles. Think of it as two rectangles connected by lines that form eges.
Pyramid
A pyramid is a structure whose visible surfaces are triangular in broad outline and converge toward the top, usually with a square base. Think of it as four triangles connected to a square base
Sphere
A sphere is a geometrical object that is a three-dimensional analogue to a two-dimensional circle. Formally, a sphere is the set of points that are all at the same distance r from a given point in three-dimensional space. That given point is the center of the sphere, and r is the sphere's radius. Think of it as a three-dimensional circle.
Hemisphere
In geometry, a hemisphere is a three-dimensional shape that is half of a sphere. Think of it as a round, solid sphere that has been cut in half.
Triangular Prism
In geometry, a triangular prism is a prism with two triangular bases. If the edges pair with each triangle's vertex and if they are perpendicular to the base, it is a right triangular prism.
