Bayou Barre Method (GROUP CLASS ) incorporates arm weights, planks, and emphasizes isometric and eccentric strength training for your thighs, gluteals, abdominals, and back body. Enjoy a good sweat while you tone and stretch!
Preservation Barre (GROUP CLASS ) is all about opposition--stability in one muscle while another works like mad! This technique incorporates deep stretching while simultaneously strengthening your muscles, all without props. You'll enjoy a long, lengthening warmup, a 360 degree strengthening of the thighs, and a complete workout of your entire core, including your gluteal muscles and side body. Warning--you will see amazingly fast results in Preservation Barre!

Six of our teachers have been trained by The London Method, and four of us have been approved by the late Esther Fairfax, daughter of Lotte Berk, innovator and creator of what is now known as "barre." We learned the truest, most complete version of her work and are proud to share it at Bayou Barre. Betsy is a current teacher trainer for The London Method and values all the time she spent with Kelly, Pam, and Esther herself, enriching her knowledge of this work.

l'Essentiel Mat Pilates--All Levels (GROUP CLASS ) offers a classical, beginner-to-intermediate workout, perfect for newcomers and seasoned clients looking to deepen their practice.
l'Essentiel Mat Pilates--Intermediate (GROUP CLASS) is for clients looking to progress through the classical mat exercises building on and deepening the basics.
Bayou Foundations (GROUP CLASS) is a fusion of barre and pilates length and strength work with an extra emphasis on mind/body awareness and balance.
l'Essentiel Reformer
Utilize the Reformer to deepen your pilates practice. By controlling the movement of the carriage, it's springs, and attachments, you'll gain strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.
Private Sessions
Experience the entire pilates system in your private, hour-long session, including the Reformer, Cadillac, High Chair, Ladder Barrel, and more.

Offering you time on the mat to flow, to breathe, and to find stillness, Bayou Beats (GROUP CLASS) is an upbeat Vinyasa flow set to a fun playlist, with the addition of light weights to add that extra bit of heat, strength, and variety. (Weights optional)
