Building Skills Through Art
Kindergarten students took part in a directed drawing activity, creating their own turkey illustrations step by step. Directed drawing gives young learners a chance to practice fine motor skills, listening and direction-following, and visual-spatial awareness while building confidence in their artistic abilities. With guidance from Mrs. Davis, students worked carefully through each stage of the drawing process. The finished turkeys reflected both their effort and creativity, and students were proud of what they accomplished.
