Coaching Staff

Head Coach Martha Richards

Coach Martha Richards has led the Pioneer Women's Golf Program since August of 2021. Martha is a well-known figure in the collegiate golf world. From her time as a dual-sport athlete at Stanford, to her years on the LPGA Tour, Richards brings a wealth of playing knowledge to the Pioneers. This value extends into her coaching legacy, which includes time at Texas (2007-2014), Vanderbilt (2001-2007), and Boise State (1997-1998). In her first few seasons, Richards has already made her mark on DU's record books.

University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch

DU Golf Club was donated by the Moore Family in 2012. Each year, we host the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in honor of this generous gift. The University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch is a perfect home base for Denver Golf. The golf club is home to a Hale Irwin designed course, two large putting greens, two chipping areas, greenside and fairway practice bunkers, large grass tees at the front and back of the range, and plenty of targets on the range. The teams have unlimited access to everything the golf club has to offer!

The Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports & Wellness is the home to DU Athletics. Located on the north end of campus, the Ritchie Center is easily identifiable by its golden bell tower. The University of Denver is #13 in the country for the most NCAA Championships - 35 in total! The facilities located in and around the Ritchie center are a huge part of that success. Here, athletes are able to work with world-class professionals in order to create a plan for sustained progress.

University of Denver Campus

DU's Campus has a fantastic location, just 15 minutes from Downtown Denver! Although close to the city, DU retains a very traditional feel. Our campus is a large rectangle, covering 125 acres of land. Between academic buildings there are green spaces, walking paths, sculptures, and beautiful landscaping. Buildings are designed for students to enjoy the outdoors and take in the surrounding mountain views!
