Your simple, small and intimate marriage ceremony
First of all congratulations, you’re getting married! Thank you so much for getting in contact. That first part can sometimes be the hardest. However, at this point, I’m sure you are excited, overwhelmed, budget conscious and maybe a little confused about what exactly goes into a marriage ceremony. We have all been there, and you should know you are not alone, and pretty much everyone starts out that way when getting married. That’s ok, though, because as your celebrant, I’m here to help you in every way I can wherever possible.
I understand that you want your ceremony to be low-key. But you also don't want to get married in an office building in the city between 1-3 pm. You can have your ceremony in your favourite park, in a lovely garden in the city or in your backyard. It's totally up to you both and what you want for your marriage ceremony.

What your elopement ceremony package includes
My 11+ years and over 590 ceremonies of experience, knowledge and expertise.
• One meeting over zoom to complete the legal paperwork and site documentation. We must complete your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least 1 month before your marriage ceremony date. I must also see your ID, such as a birth certificate and passport. This is all done over video chat at a time that suits you both.
• A short but sweet ceremony that expresses the importance of marriage in a relaxed and easy style. You can pick from 4 different ceremony wording templates for your ceremony that I have crafted.
• I will perform your ceremony at the agreed time and location within the Adelaide metro area with a maximum of 10 guests. This doesn't include you both! So it's 10 guests plus the couple. If you require more travel, we can talk further about those details. You will need at least 2 witnesses at your ceremony over the age of 18. They don't need to be Australian Citizens, but they must speak and understand English.
• Use any of my 5 signing pens when completing your marriage certificate after the ceremony.
• Lodgement of all necessary legal documents (NOIM, Form 14 & 16) with Birth, Deaths and Marriages. Plus, I include a detailed list of organisations where you will need to change your name after marriage and how to apply for your marriage certificate from birth, Deaths, and Marriages once married.
The cost for me to perform your elopement/Mirco-style legal wedding ceremony is
$400 10 am-3 pm Monday to Friday
$450 After 3 pm Monday to Thursday
$550 After 3 pm on Friday through to Sunday night.
These prices are for an all-inclusive marriage ceremony. A non-refundable booking fee of half your payment needs to be paid within 24 hours of confirming your ceremony with me. Your non-refundable final payment of the last half of your fee is paid 7 days before your wedding date.
Please note a Monday to Friday 1.15 PM-3.30 PM Birth, Deaths and Marriages ceremony is $365 at the BDM city office building. You can only get married in their office if they operate as they close with covid concerns at certain times. You also have to book 3-6 months in advance as their times are limited.
*** For a fully tailored wedding ceremony in peak season, I charge my usual fee of $1,500. This fee includes 2-3 meetings, a fully personalised written ceremony and a full rehearsal on-site at the ceremony location. As well as my arrival 1 hour before the ceremony and staying 30 minutes after the ceremony with my full PA LD Ultra-Portable Column PA System with Mixer and Bluetooth. ***
