Federal childhood vaccination recommendation
You may have seen information in the news about recent updates to federal childhood vaccination recommendations. These updates do not affect the vaccines required for school attendance in New York City. The current New York State and New York City immunization requirements for students attending school during the 2025–26 school year remain unchanged. You can find information in multiple languages about the vaccines that students must have at the start of the school year, as well as the New York City vaccine schedule for children of all ages at Immunizations. Families with questions about their child's immunization status should contact Ms. Saldana at 212-694-6020 ext. 4601 or health care provider.
