The EP 'WHITEOUT is a culmination of THE LUCIDWAKE's artistic evolution and vow to keep pushing the boundaries of Rock. The founders of the band, Jim (Guitarist/ Composer) and Vihaa (Vocalist/ composer/ lyricist) endeavored to pen down their emotions, experiences, reflections, inspiration by writing original music and performing for live audiences in home turf India and collaborated with fellow artists since its genesis 2019 and has unlocked a new beginning.

"Bleed" takes us through a chilling blizzard on a faithless night, central to the EP WHITEOUT's theme. It is a reflection of a person's state of mind, that has turned sore and spiritless because of being ambushed by darkness with a cross for one to bear. This burden defeats the last few tones of charm alive as they slowly die like the chorus of fading chimes that you hear, amidst a winding road of never-ending horror, leaving the person bleeding(inside / not physical) in this anguish from a ceaseless storm.

The powerhouse of the band! Her first rung in music, began as a kid who struck a note to the school chapel's reverberating pipe organ. Although inspired by Jazz and Blues, THE LUCIDWAKE draws the spirit of Rock in her and she writes music in the genre. The frontwoman loves to pilot through choppy waters on a rocking boat but more so 'living' that ride and she holds a mirror with the listeners to share these experiences through her vocals, lyrics and truly believes that music is a lifetime affair.
