Celebrating Our OV Students at CTE Signing Day

CTE Signing day

On June 5th, several Otselic Valley seniors were recognized during the 2025 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Signing Day at the Alan D. Pole Campus of DCMO BOCES. Much like athletes signing with college teams, these students proudly signed certificates committing to their future careers -- a powerful celebration of skilled trades and workforce readiness.

All five students, part of the Conservation and Heavy Equipment Program, have secured positions with local businesses:

  • Aidan Brown-Smith, David Palmer, and Caden Fuller – Hired by Buckley’s Excavating
  • Ryley Palmer – Hired by Monroe & Shaver Contracting
  • Austin Brown – Hired by Integrity Lining Systems LLC

These graduates are leaving Otselic Valley with not just diplomas, but clear career paths and industry-ready skills. Their achievements highlight the importance of CTE programs in preparing students for success beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to our CTE signees, we’re proud of you!
