God places His dreams in us, His children, to carry His word. He provides His grace, the people, and the resources necessary for His dreams to come true. And His dream is that every tongue, tribe, nation, and people will confess that Jesus is Lord, the Lamb.
Earlier this month, I returned for the second time to a beloved church that has accompanied me for many years. On this occasion, I gave a presentation about my personal experience regarding the call. Every time I visit a church, I pray that God will use me and speak through me, so that every young person will be impacted by God's power and feel the desire to continue seeking and longing for His presence.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
As the Word says, “His ways are higher than our ways, and his thoughts than our thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8–9). I have seen this truth fulfilled in a very special way during this time. Throughout this year, I have shared with you that I am in the process of training to become a member of the Pioneros missionary organization. One of the requirements was to complete eight theology courses. Thank God, I have already finished four and am currently taking two more to complete six courses. With two remaining Another necessary step was to travel to Mexico for training focused on character development and other topics. Many of you will remember that last year I was unable to travel due to the situation in my country, and this year I did everything possible to make that trip happen. However, it was not possible, as the visa process for Mexico is currently suspended for my country. Faced with this situation, I had a meeting with Pioneers to explain that I would not be able to travel. At the same time, they spoke with my leaders in China, and after evaluating the options, they made a very significant decision. The organization has decided to grant me membership, which means I can now join my team in China. For this reason, I began the process of applying for a visa for China. I have already sent my documents to China. I am waiting for a response. Thank God that relations between Venezuela and China are good and the visa process is active. I appreciate your prayers, support, and companionship every step of the way. God continues to guide everything with His perfect wisdom.
What are the challenges?
For now, I am applying for a student visa to study Mandarin. This visa is an excellent option because it allows me to stay in the country without any problems. Please pray that God will grant me His grace and that I will be approved. God willing, if my visa is approved, I will travel during the second week of February. This means that I must first take care of several security-related matters, since communication from there must be conducted under different terms. For example, I must use Threema or another secure messaging app. Another issue is financing for China. I am waiting for the budget to be sent to me so that I can begin raising funds. There is already a church in Korea that wants to support me with an offering. I think the biggest challenge right now is the uncertainty in Venezuela. We don't know what might happen, especially given the tense situation between Venezuela and the United States, which has led to flight cancellations, restrictions, and various changes in airlines. I am planning to travel in February, God willing. I ask that we pray that God will do His will in Venezuela and that His peace will rest upon my life, my family, and also upon our brothers and sisters and friends. We trust that God is in control and that nothing escapes His hands.
I will share a link about the city where I will be, God willing. This city is located on the border with NK and is a key location. It is known as “the third Korea” because it is a Chinese-Korean city with a strong Korean cultural presence. By reading the article in the link I am sending you, you will better understand why this city is so strategic, not only because of its border location, but also because of its cultural importance.
I am infinitely grateful to God for continuing to guide me and show me the path I must follow. Thank God because I have almost finished the hypoallergenic diet and because I am now free of the allergy I had. Thank God for showing me His goodness every day. Thank you, God, because despite the tense situation in my country, I have experienced peace that surpasses all understanding and continue to do what God has called me to do.
