Patricia Moore: Lessons Leanred By Kani'ya Davis

Patricia Moore is a 10 -year- old author from Salisbury, NC. Patricia is in the 5th grade and has a deep passion for storytelling, inspiring her to write her debut book, "Lessons Learned."

"It's so inspiring to see such young individuals breaking out into the realm of literature," said Eli Holt, a second year English student at N.C. A&T.

When she's not writing, Patricia loves to play basketball and make Perler beads. Her mother, April Butler is very serious about keeping Patricia and her siblings active and creative.

"Lessons Learned," which was published on Feb. 19, highlights the importance of good parenting, As Patricia Highlights valuable lessons she's learned from the adults in her life.

Butler, Patricia’s mother, was a major inspiration for the book.
