Martis Valley Trail Placer County Park of the Month

Welcome to the Martis Valley Trail

Nestled in the stunning Sierra Nevada landscape, the Martis Valley Trail is a scenic 4.6-mile paved pathway that connects the Town of Truckee to Northstar Resort.

Whether you're walking, running, biking, or simply taking in the alpine views, this trail offers an unforgettable experience with a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

Part of the larger Martis Valley unpaved trail system, this multi-use trail welcomes a wide variety of users and is designed with both recreation and connectivity in mind.

When complete, the Martis Valley Trail will span 10.2 miles, linking to Brockway Summit and integrating into the Resort Triangle Trail — an ambitious 62-mile trail network connecting Kings Beach, Tahoe City, Olympic Valley, Truckee, Martis Valley, and Northstar.
