k-1 Creative arts

In the lead up to NAIDOC week, we listened to the Dreamtime Story of the Rainbow Serpent. We created our own serpents using wire and wool, and retold the story to our friends.

k-1 literacy

We were excited to find so many oranges and passionfruit growing in our orchard. We even found an apple on the apple tree. We picked some fruit and shared it with our friends, then we wrote about our adventure in our writing books.

k-1 maths

In maths lessons, we have been learning how to use number lines as an additional tool to support us when adding and subtracting.

4-6 NAIDOC research

Each one of us has been researching an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who is an image of greatness. We look forward to sharing our research at our NAIDOC assembly.

2-3 maths

Students have enjoyed learning about symmetry and creating their own symmetrical toys.

k-6 pdhpe

Helmet Safety Lesson - K-6 practised how to correctly fit bike and skate helmets in PD/Health lessons this week.

voss athletics carnival

The whole school had a wonderful time at the VoSS Athletics Carnival at the Cavanbah Centre last Friday. While Years 2-6 were competing in field and track events, the K-2 students had lots of fun running their sprints and doing various fun activities. Congratulations to those students who qualified for and will now compete at the Headlands District Athletics Carnival on the 7th August at the Cavanbah Centre.
