We’ve had a busy and exciting week in Year 4!
In PE, the children have been practising their putting skills in golf, taking part in fun accuracy games and improving their aim and control.
In RE, we have been exploring a range of sacred religious texts and discussing why they are so important to different communities. We looked at the Sikh Guru Granth Sahib and learned how it is treated with great respect, as well as the teachings found within it. We explored the Buddhist Tipitaka and discovered how it guides Buddhists in their beliefs and ways of living. We also learned about the Hindu Vedas, one of the oldest sets of religious writings, and thought about how they influence Hindu traditions today.
In English, the children have been using busy images again to help them create noun phrases and extend them in fun and imaginative ways!
We’ve been working very hard in Maths as we have moved onto column multiplication, tackling 2-digit by 2-digit calculations.
Our class is finally looking nice and festive, just in time for Christmas!
Thank you for reading our class blog.
