Pat shares his thoughts about his upcoming release:
“REPLY” is an Alternative HipHop/R&B track where I dive into the theme of relationships but specifically communication. I started writing this record in November last year when a friend of mine was going through a rough time and was having trouble navigating the situation. The lyrics are based on the advice I was giving at the time. I believe the track is very fitting for the Autumn/Winter.
In a world where communication is mostly free, it still upholds weight like it's a luxury to find as depicted in the chorus by F3miii.
The collaboration with F3miii was spontaneous and I have been a fan of his for some time. He has worked on the mastering for Jungle, Carousel and IMPOSTOR so were familiar with each other's work. I was teasing this track with an unfinished hook/chorus on my Instagram close friend's story and Femi was curious and in typical fashion he lays an effortless vocal on the instrumental which instantly sets the tone and energy of the track.
