Wow it's been a busy week this week! We have most certainly gone out with an Easter bang and had a very exciting week!
At the beginning of the week, we had some Year 11 pupils coming down to plant wildflower seeds in our outdoor spaces. Reception also went on a walk to Physic Gardens in Cowbridge to look at different types of flowers and used their DCF skills to take photos of them.
Both Nursery and Reception have been busy putting the finishing touches to their Easter Enterprise crafts this week. They have made clay pots, watercolour paintings of Spring flowers, Easter egg stained glass windows and Easter egg nests.
Everyone came together wearing their special socks to celebrate World Down Syndrome day on Thursday. The theme this year was #LotsOfSocks and the children and Lower School staff certainly fulfilled this brief!
On Thursday we welcomed our families into school to have a big Easter celebration. We sang songs in the hall with our Easter bonnets on and then showed our families all our hard work in our Easter Enterprise showcase. A huge thank you to everyone who came and gave such generous donations 💖
Would you believe that the Easter bunny paid us a visit on Friday!? There were eggs all over the yard and we found so many, they were chocolate eggs as well so we were all very excited!! We had a lovely Easter disco with fun games as well.
Phew, what a busy, busy week! A big thank you as always to our amazing parents, we are so lucky to have your support for all our events 😊 Wishing everyone a fun and relaxing Easter holidays, pasg hapus! 🐰🐣
