Wabasha-Kellogg Schools, located at 2113 Hiawatha Drive East in Wabasha, Minnesota, is undergoing a comprehensive $16.2 million renovation aimed at enhancing both safety and educational opportunities for students. The project features major updates to several key areas of the school building, including a full remodel of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) labs and science labs to support hands-on learning and modern curriculum needs. Restrooms and the media center will also be upgraded to provide more accessible, comfortable, and technologically equipped spaces for students and staff.
In addition to academic spaces, the renovation will include the installation of a partially new roof and a state-of-the-art fire alarm system to improve overall building safety. A secure entry system will be implemented to enhance school security and ensure controlled access to the facility. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems will also be upgraded, improving energy efficiency and climate control throughout the building. These updates reflect the district’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, innovative, and future-ready learning environment for all students.
