I was never a fan of photo albums when I started taking wedding photographs in 2005. I found them old-fashioned and a bit of a wedding tradition which I was happy to ignore as I thought the way I was doing things was too cool for printed products, being part of the digital revolution. My thoughts now are completetly different with so many beautiful options available to us and our clients.
As part of a little side project I make my own yearly annual of our family outgoings and adventures. I take them from everywhere, my cameras, our phones, the kids phones. Its not always about the photo quality, its the memories they envoke. They sit on our bookcase looking not too dissimilar from a collection of short stories all with matching spines and similar layouts. My kids love showing their friends our creations and it makes my heart sing when I see them smile.
I don’t know what it is, whether it’s the difference between looking at beautiful natural ink on a page compared to illuminated pixels on a device. Or maybe it’s the fact I can reach out and touch the moment and be reminded of it whenever I pass it on the wall or see it in an album. Do our family albums make me happy because they remind me of our amazing adventures? Of course they do and I’ll be printing photographs and albums forever now to try and grasp at a beautiful time gone by.

These beautiful albums are made with real wood covers making each one unique. They have thick pages and come with 30 pages as standard. With this style I advise choosing between 80-90 images. Upgrades with additonal pages are available.
New for 2025 landscape photobooks available in two sizes 16x12 0r 12x8
These new photobooks are a fantastic choice if you'd like to have lots of your photos in your album. They have soft pages like a coffee table book and you can choose up to 300 images.

Photo Albums pricing includes 30 pages (15 double spreads) Both Albums and Photobooks are printed on Mohawk Superfine Paper which has a fine texture matte finish.
Extra spreads can be added to make the most of your chosen photos. Extra spread/two pages can be added to the photo albums £20/£25

Choosing the images for your album couldnt be easier, I will send you an easy to follow set of instructions on the process, from picking your photos through to the design and completion of your cherished album.
Once youve chosen your images you'll be sent a form to complete to pick your album cover fabric. You can see a full list of available options here.
