Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do I need to book?

I recommend booking at least 2-4 months in advance. Since I only shoot one weekend a month, those dates fill up fast! Weekdays work best for my hair & makeup artists. That doesn't mean I won't have a last-minute cancellation where I may be able to schedule you in, but it's best to book in advance! So DON'T WAIT to email me! If you are doing a session as a gift for a partner, I would recommend getting in touch ASAP! Look at booking a session date that is at least 6 weeks out from when you plan to gift your images.

Do you offer payment plans?

For my all-inclusive experiences, after your $299 session fee, the remaining balance is split into two equal payments— 50 % halfway between booking and your shoot, and the final 50 % one week before your session. (Payments run automatically via my CRM.) You also have the opportunity to check out with a secure custom checkout cart before your session or at your image reveal appointment where you can choose flexible financing through PayPal, Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay.

Are my images private?

Yes, Ma'am! All images are kept completely private unless you provide written permission for me to share them. Although I love sharing images in my portfolio, you will never be pressured or required to do so. At your reveal and ordering appointment, after we have gone through your images, you will have the option to let me know if I can share all, some, or none of your images and in what way they may be shared if you do grant permission. The privacy of your images is 100% your decision.

Where will my boudoir session take place? Do you have a studio?

I do most of my boudoir sessions in my home studio located in St. Pete. But since this session is all about you, my favorite location for sessions is in your home. I love walking into a new space and developing a story in your images based on your life. I understand that sometimes this might not be the best option for you, so I also will do shoots in hotels or an Airbnb. If that's something you are interested in, let me know and I can provide you with some wonderful options in the Tampa Bay + Sarasota areas.

How many outfits should I bring to my session? And WHAT do I bring?

There are NO limits on how many you bring to the session. I'd rather you have all the options for us to go through together than for you to be bummed you left something behind. I will say we generally make it through about 3 to 4 different outfit changes though on average with a session. When it comes to what to bring, it's always going to be whatever you feel sexy in! Most women will opt for lingerie, but I love oversized sweaters, off-the-shoulder tops, tanks, silk robes, panty house, bodysuits, a tee, and undies, and anything lace or leather usually works well! I tend to shy away from props as my style has more of a lifestyle/editorial feel to it (so I don't want it to feel too posed!), but many ladies will also bring along a favorite pair of heels or piece of jewelry to have on hand too.

How much editing do you do?

I will always aim to keep you looking like a sexy version of yourself. So we will amplify your attributes with amazing professional makeup and hair, proper choice of attire, good angles, lighting, and posing. I will do light retouching in post-production - where I may tune up the lighting, shadows, and temperature. I will edit out minor skin flaws such as blemishes, under-eye circles, and small scars (if you give me a heads-up). My editing process does do some gentle smoothing of cellulite and wrinkles. But my general rule of thumb is that if it is permanent, it stays. Tattoos included. If you would like extensive retouching, I do offer vanity edits on a per-image basis at an additional cost that we can discuss at your reveal and ordering appointment.

Everyone looks like models on your website! I don't look anything like them! Can I do this?

First of all, THANK YOU! I take that as a compliment of the highest degree because these women are not models. These women, just like yourself, said the same thing as you are saying now! We do a LOT of talking beforehand. We plan. We figure out what outfits are most flattering for you. We work with the light and angles and I will direct you the ENTIRE time. I am VERY good at this...just TRUST ME. ;)

Do I have to get naked for a session?

Nope! You get to choose how clothed you are based on your own personal comfort level! I think you can be just as sexy in oversized sweaters as you can be in your birthday suit! You wear what you feel sexy in! We will talk a LOT before your session to plan the vibe and feel you are after. If some artsy/tasteful nudes are something you've always been tempted to try but have been too shy, I'll guide you through the session so by the end you will walking around nekid like it's NBD. ;)

Can I bring a friend along for moral support?

Sure! If you are a little nervous and need your BFF cheering you on in the corner, she is totally welcome! The only thing I ask is that your friend does not feel the need to offer suggestions with each shot or feel like she needs to touch up a fly-away with each shot as this may start to impede the session's progression. I have your back and will make sure everything is perfect for your images! I do have a firm policy on NO partner/hubby/boyfriend/fiancé there while we shoot. I will not waive on this. But if you want to make it an even better experience and have back-2-back sessions with your bestie to make a day of it - which equates to discounted session prices for you both, so let me know!

Do you photograph boudoir for men?

I primarily focus on empowering women with my boudoir sessions as I know posing for females is my strong point. I do NOT take on male clients at this time.
