Faculty-Led Payment Process

Follow along for a step-by-step guide on how to make a payment for a UA faculty-led program!

First, go to the Student Tab on myBama.

Then, click "Pay Your Student Bill."

Click "Deposits."

Then, click "Select Deposit Payment". This is a drop-down menu of all the study abroad programs that are able to take payments. Choose your program from this menu.

For each program, there are two options for payment type. WEBCC means you will pay using a credit or debit card.

**There is a 2.85% fee when paying by card.

WEBCK is to pay by linking a bank account. There is no fee associated with this payment method.

Now, you will need to type in the amount you want to pay in the box. The total cost of the program will appear above the box.

Then, just follow the prompts and complete your payment! You should get an email confirmation that your payment has gone through.

Because this is a deposit, you will not be able to see the activity on your student account until bills go live for the term during which you'll be studying abroad. If you're ever not sure whether your payment went through, just contact Student Account Services (348-5350) and they can tell you!

If you would like to pay by cash or check in person:

  1. Print out the Summarized Cost & Payment Sheet located in your study abroad application
  2. Bring the printed copy to the EA office (144 BB Comer) to be signed and stamped
  3. Take your signed SCP to Student Account Services (105 Student Services Building) and make your payment!
