From Research to Reality: Students Showcase NYS Icons
Otselic Valley’s halls were transformed into a living timeline as Mrs. Thorp’s fourth grade class presented their New York State History Wax Museum. Students portrayed notable figures such as Sojourner Truth, George Eastman, and J.D. Rockefeller – each bringing their subject to life through detailed research, creative costumes, and interactive displays.
As visitors strolled through the museum-style setup, they were met with lively presentations, fun facts, and impressive historical knowledge. The event showcased not only the students’ academic skills but also their enthusiasm and creativity. It was clear that a great deal of time and effort went into each project.
We’re incredibly proud of our young historians for their hard work and thank everyone who came out to support this engaging and educational event!
