SEPTEMBER communiqué

Danger!

The time of momentous change is upon us right now!

We are living in a time of exponential changes, and they are happening all at the same time in every arena and spheres. Like never before, God is bringing all things (in evert sphere of our lives) together for the final push to present His Son, Jesus Christ as the King of Kings

We are literally seeing Eph 1:9-10 unveiling before us. “He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.”

Times of momentous changes are also very dangerous time. Many in the church world today, members and leaders alike get caught up with the “glitters” and “glamour” of changes that brings the promises of better innovations, comfort, automation, speed, etc – and they do but fail to discern the subtle but definite shift it brings to the culture of our devotion to Christ, dedication to His work, biblical understanding of marriage and family and attitude towards life itself. I fear, when our Master comes back, he may not recognize His bride

Eph 1:17-18, tells us, “the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened”

Jesus Christ is our discernment. Walk with Him, Follow His Word, His leading and His Spirit. Keeping ourselves close to him will help us see everything through His perfect perspective, instead of ours and an ever-evolving world. By Him, we will know what is spiritual versus carnal, godly versus demonic, temporal from eternal or just simply right or wrong.

Many have been deceived and gone cold and astray because they are drawing knowledge and wisdom from the windmill of the “glittering and glamorous” environment, people and system around them

Not many will deny Jesus Christ, His wisdom and ways. We err in the ways of mixture in wanting more of Jesus and less of the world or ourselves. But Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and the world and follow Him only

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” Matt 16:24

“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” Gal 6:14

In Metrotab, Jesus is central and preeminence. But you must decide for yourselves. Jesus says, we are to, “…carry our OWN CROSS….”

“And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy” Col 1:18

May you make Jesus the Centre of your life and may He be the only source of your discernment, wisdom and knowledge.
