First introduced in 2022, The URSPYS serves as the final gathering of the academic year for all Ursinus student-athletes, athletics staff, and other campus partners. The goal of the event is to showcase the achievements and milestones of our student-athletes and to honor our seniors. Modeled after popular award shows such as the ESPYS and the Grammy’s, the URSPYS has become one of the most anticipated events of the academic year where everyone comes together to celebrate what it means to be an Ursinus Bear!

Senior Male MVP
Daniel Tabor - Men's Track and Field
Daniel Tabor of Ursinus Men's Track and Field took home the Male Senior MVP after earning himself seven medals between both the Centennial Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships, five of which being gold. Tabor also raced at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships twice in the 4x400m relay and once in the 400m, as well as being a member of back-to-back-to-back Centennial Outdoor title teams
Most Outstanding Female Athlete
Rainah Dunham - Women's Track and Field
Ursinus Women's Track & Field's Rainah Dunham was the Most Outstanding Athlete in a Female Sport behind a historic season that saw it culminate in becoming the first Ursinus Women's Track & Field National Champion in the long jump. Dunham earned Four All-American honors in the 2023-24 season across both the indoor and outdoor season and was named the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship Most Outstanding Women's Field Performer
Most Outstanding Male Athlete
Ryan Bodolus - Football
Ursinus Football's Ryan Bodolus was named the Most Outstanding Male Athlete following a dominant season on the gridiron. Bodolus was named as a first-team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), as well as second team All-American by the Associated Press and D3football.com, while also garnering College Sports Commincators (CSC) First Team Academic All-American status
Female Rookie of the Year
Erin Roe - Gymnastics
Ursinus Gymnastics's standout first year Erin Roe won the Female Rookie of the Year after a stellar first collegiate season. Her first season saw her compete in 10 meets and performed in at least once on all four events: Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise. She also set the school record on the vault with a score of 9.825 at Temple, while also setting a season high score of 9.700 on the beam in three separate meets. Roe's season concluded with a qualification for the NCGA Championships in the vault, where she earned a score of 9.675
Male Rookie of the Year
Max Borton - Men's Wrestling
Ursinus Men's Wrestling's Max Borton had a historic first year season for the Bears that saw him win the Male Rookie of the Year award. Borton finished his season with an overall record of 38-10, with a 4-0 performance at the Messiah Invitational, a third place finish at the Racich Rumble, and a win at the Will Abele Invitational. He also played a key role in the Bears repeat as Centennial Champions by notching a third-place finish at the 184lb weight class. He then earned a third place finish at the NCAA Mideast Championships, which helped him qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships. Borton placed eighth at the NCAA Championships, helping him garner All American status. Borton's performance at the NCAA championships made him the first Ursinus first-year wrestler to garner All-American status

Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week (9/5/23), All-Centennial First Team, NFHCA Region V Second Team, Tied for second in Division III in defensive saves (14), Tied for third on team with eight points (three goals and two assists), Ranked third on team with 48 shots and 17 on goal

AFCA First Team All-American, AP Second Team All-American, D3football.com Second Team All-American, CSC Academic All American, Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year, PhillySIDA Football Academic All Area Performer of the Year, All Centennial First Team, Set Ursinus and Centennial Conference career sack record, Ranked sixth in Division III for sacks and ranked first in Centennial Conference (12), Tied for eighth in Division III for TFL (20.5), Ranked second on team in tackles (66, 36 solo), Tied Centennial lead with three forced fumbles and one fumble recovered, Recorded three multi-sack games and at least one sack in eight of 11 games

Ursinus Men's Track and Field's Aiden Tobin's performance at the 2024 Centennial Indoor Track and Field Championship saw him win four gold medals in the 60m (6.97), 200m (22.10), 4x200m relay (1:29.23), and 4x400m relay (3:22.04). His performance in the 60m set a new school record, his performance in the 200m set a new school and championship meet record, his participation in the 4x200m relay set school, conference and championship meet records and his participation in the 4x400m relay set a new school record. Tobin was also honored as the Centennial Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship Most Outstanding Men's Track Performer
