Discovering Nature in Portland, Oregon Summer of 2024

This summer, I traveled to many different places. However, one trip I will always remember is my trip to Portland, Oregon.

DAY 1: On the first day we were in Oregon, we left late in the day, and it was super hot outside, so we decided to treat ourselves to delicious ice cream at "Salt & Straw" before heading over to browse afterward at a bookstore called "Powell's Books" to wrap up the day.

DAY 2: The Lavender Farms had to be the highlight of our day. We spent a long time surrounded by lavender and scenic tall mountains, and couldn't help but enjoyed posing for the camera with the beautiful background. We also treated ourselves to tasty Honey lavender ice cream before heading to the Multnomah Falls to hike.

DAY 3: Tillamook was the first stop of day 3, which took very long to get to. We enjoyed some delicious ice cream and cheese (Strawberry ice cream being the highlight of going to Tillamook!) and then headed over to Canon Beach to catch some breathtaking views before eating at a nearby seafood restaurant where we enjoyed Clam Chowder and fish and chips (I really enjoyed the Clam Chowder while looking out the huge windows to take in the view of the beach).

DAY 4: On day 4, we had another opportunity to visit a breathtaking waterfall called Silver Falls, and visiting the falls, we went to the outlet for some shopping.

DAY 5: On the last day, we decided to stay near the place we were lodging and went to the mall to celebrate my older sister's birthday. Later, we enjoyed a filling meal of sushi.

As our Oregon trip came to an end, we reflected on the fun memories we made during that trip from going to "Salt & Straw" to enjoy ice cream, to the delicious seafood near Canon Beach, and the stunning views at Silver Falls, that I will never forget.
