The Sky is the Limit Aerial Photography Portfolio by Justin Jin

Justin shoots prize-winning images in both on the ground and in the air. He is equipped with the state-of-the-art DJI Mavic 3 with a Hasselblad lens and large sensor, allowing him to capture exquisite images especially in low light, complementing his signature hand-held storytelling photography.

Here in Arctic Sweden, the ground temperature was -30c, meaning that, flying at 500 m height the drone must be experiencing some -35c plus wind chill. Incredibly, the drone performed while Justin froze. This and other aerial shots were part of a series given an "Environmental Vision" award at the Picture of the Year International 2023, the top photojournalism prize in the US.
The world's longest train crossing the Sahara Desert. Awarded by the 2022 Siena Drone Photography Award and the 2023 Picture of the Year International. Justin slept in the desert with his drone next to the train track two nights to capture this shot.

Justin honed his drone storytelling skills working with the world's greatest photographic publications: the National Geographic and GEO.

His drone photography won a prize at the Siena International Drone Photography competition and Pictures of the Year International, the top photojournalism prize in the US.

Justin holds an Open category license issued by the European Union Aviation Agency and is insured for third-party liabilities globally.

Justin was born in Hong Kong and lives in Brussels.
