2024 Homecoming Parade

On Friday, September 13, community members gathered along the service drive to watch the annual homecoming parade before heading to the Wildcat Stadium for the varsity football game.

Senior Adrian Anderson marches with his base drum as the band performs the Northview fight song.
Seniors Murphy Hossink and Nico Thompson are apart of the 2024 Homecoming Court. Each court member rides along with someone from the community who offers up their car for the occasion.
Young Wildcat cheerleaders from the youth program are invited to join in on the festivities and walked alongside the varsity team.
The Rowing program uses the parade to promote their sport with signs and sweet treats.

High school and middle school dance teams make their debut at the parade carrying brightly decorated signs and playing music over a speaker.
Draped in neon, the varsity swim team attracts attention by riding in a boat and passing out candy for their audience.

The drama club promotes their fall play, "Peter and the Star Catcher," in hopes of attracting a large audience.

Senior Piper Schumaker eagerly waves to her friends as she passes. This is her fourth year participating in the homecoming parade.

Candy is a vital part of the homecoming parade. Kids line up along the way in hopes of filling their bags to the brim with sugar treats.

Seniors Rory Morter and Rylee Templar distribute candy in the final stretch of the parade. Parade participants use this opportunity to practice their best princess wave.

Some are better than others.
