"Coming to Lindenwood was the best decision I’ve ever made. I probably have the most LU pride on the team because I know from first hand experience that the tough, competitive trainings we put in daily will be always be worth building and continuing our Lion Dynasty. Off the field, I am able to excel academically as Lindenwood offers many majors and academic assistance. A piece of advice that gets me through tough trainings is “iron sharpens iron.” Our team has some of the best women’s collegiate rugby players, and daily trainings has definitely boosted my rugby skills and IQ."

Player Spotlight

"My time at Lindenwood has been very rewarding. The trials I have faced (tearing my ACL, being very homesick, and constantly fighting for a position on the field) whilst being here truly tested my abilities to be a better athlete, student, and most importantly, a better person. no matter how low I felt, or how much I wanted to quit, I was blessed to be around people who saw potential in me, and lifted my spirits to keep pushing. Their examples would lead me to wanting to do the same for my peers, and community. Three rings later, I can honestly say that I would not trade my precious experience here for anything in the world. Advice: get comfortable being uncomfortable! Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."

“Being apart of this team…it’s tough, but on the field it shows how hard we work. It’ll take you to your dark place, it will challenge you a lot, but it will also shape you into a better person.” - Irie Farley

When I first arrived I was not sure what I was getting myself into, but now am grateful as I have made sisters and friends for life. -Tanaka Kanyepi, Zimbabwe

"Attending Lindenwood has not only made me a better person, but has allowed me to be apart of something bigger than myself. I have matured and learned what being apart of a team is all about. This team has pushed me to be the best version of myself on and off the field. I have been so thankful to play for Lindenwood while I accomplish my academic goals. If I had one piece of advice i’d say to not take anything for granted and appreciate every second you have here at Lindenwood."
