Everyone is welcome to geek out at our annual Henderson Libraries MiniCon! This year marks the exciting revival of this fan-favorite event. Meet local artists and vendors selling art, comics, graphic novels, toys, and other unique items. Come dressed as your favorite character and enter our cosplay contest—there’s a prize up for grabs! We’ll also have a variety of activities for both adults and children throughout the day. Don’t miss out on the fun!

the mystic fair
Come explore the Windmill Library's Annual Mystic Fair! Customers can explore the magical benefits of Transformational Healing that combine a blend of Reiki, Elemental Healing, and Shamanic Practices, as well as the metaphysical, learning about Oracle Decks, Pendulums, Mediumship, and the Paranormal. Drum circles and spiritual music, as well as Tea Leaf Reading, Shadow Work, Spell bags, and much more. Teen & Children's activities are available too, including Henna Art, Face Painting, Teen Glamour Magic, and more. And, of course, lunch from local food trucks.

Shakespeare in the park
The Nevada Shakespeare Festival is proud to present... ROMEO & JULIET By William Shakespeare Join a cast of 5 NSF actors for a roller coaster ride through the greatest love story ever told. Love at first sight, sword fights, family drama, a couple of puppets and a bit of Bon Jovi; it’s classical theater with a healthy dose of comedy making a story that can easily feel over familiar into a spontaneous and thrilling tale of epic proportions!
