News from the Business Services Office
- ZCS will soon issue supplemental fee statements to families. These fees are based on the actual cost of materials used by students and help ensure that high-quality learning materials continue to support instruction across all classrooms.
- Families participating in the Free/Reduced Meals program will have these fees automatically waived (except in cases of lost or damaged materials). If your family is facing financial challenges, please consider applying for meal assistance or contact our school counselor or the Business Services Department for support. Families can find more information about supports and apply for meal assistance on the ZCS website.
- Supplemental fee statements will be sent to middle school and high school families in November via ParentSquare from the ZCS Business Office.
- For additional details and information, please reference Dr. Coffman's original message sent via ParentSquare on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work together to provide the best learning experiences for all students.

ZWest Science Fair Information
- ZWest Families - We are excited to announce that we will once again be hosting our Annual Science Fair. This year marks the 4th ZWMS Science Fair. Although the Science Fair is a time-consuming commitment, it is an amazing opportunity for students.
- This year we will be adding some additional elements to the day of the fair to provide students with opportunities to not only need judges when sharing their own project but also ask questions and talk to scientists as they share some of their own projects.
- Students can attend any of the session topics that might interest them. It will be an opportunity to get some assistance along the way. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Kathleen Evans at kevans@zcs.k12.in.us or via Parent Square.
