parent teacher interview BOOKINGS CLOSe TODAY
Parent/Teacher meetings will be held on Wednesday, 19th March. Parents are able to book a face to face or phone meeting. Please indicate if your meeting is to be by phone and your preferred number. This year, we are using the School Bytes App to schedule a meeting. Bookings are now open and bookings will close on Friday, 14th March.
We are focusing interviews on English and Maths. Parents are asked to only book an interview with your child's allocated English and Maths teacher. (See the class groups below.) As the students move between the teachers every child has a different teacher for English and Maths. Please do not book with other teachers. The school is able to change these if a mistake is made. Each interview has a 15-minute timeslot. Be careful not to book the same time for two different teachers.
Teachers are:
- K/1 Maths & 4/6 English - Mrs Ruskin
- 4/6 Maths & 2/3 English - Mrs Cartwright
- 2/3 Maths & K/1 English - Mrs Carroll
- 4/6 Maths - Ms Albans- If unsure if your children are in this group please ask them or the office.
Teachers are booked for the whole day and will be adhereing to the time allocations. To avoid the disappointment of time being shortened and so we are able to stick with the schedule, we ask that parents are on time for your meeting and answer your phone if a phone meeting was requested.
Stewart House Charity Drive Envelopes
Every year, 1,600 public school children attend Stewart House at no cost to their parents or carers. During a 12-day stay, they are provided with dental, optical, hearing and medical screening and treatment. Children participate in educational programs and excursions designed to develop their social and emotional skills, build self-esteem and improve their overall wellbeing. This experience provides children with a much-needed break from their current circumstances. Our children are inspired to see beyond the present and to have real hope and positive aspirations for their future. Children in the care of Stewart House attend a specific purpose school, and the NSW Department of Education provides infrastructure and staffing support for this school. All other costs associated with the children’s stay are met from charitable donations. if you are able to make a $2 donation, please do so in the envelope your child brought home today, and return to school by Friday, 28 March.
