Berrybrook Primary Art Exhibition at Wolverhampton Art Gallery

This term, talented pupils from Berrybrook Primary School had the opportunity to showcase their creativity at Wolverhampton Art Gallery! The gallery opened its doors for a very special exhibition from an aspiring group of artists—Berrybrook's very own children.

The exhibition featured an array of artwork created by students across all year groups and included work that was created in conjunction with RAF Cosford for their 80 years VE Day celebrations. The display was a true celebration of our children's artistic expression and exploration of different types of media and inspiration.

Parents, teachers, and members of the local community gathered at the gallery to admire the children's work which was celebrated with a selection of refreshments. The pride on our children's faces was unmistakable as they stood beside their creations, explaining their inspirations and the stories behind each piece.

Berrybrook are so proud of the children's designs and are very grateful to staff for their hard work, such as Miss Mair who collated the collection and liaised with the gallery.

Woodthorne's Outdoor Art Gallery

Woodthorne children created their very own outdoor art exhibition. Every year group from nursery to year 6 took part to create a beautiful piece of nature-inspired artwork to showcase in their outdoor gallery. Hundreds of parents visited to celebrate the hard work and artistic talent on show.

Congratulations!

.

As we reach the end of another academic year, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of our families for your ongoing support. Without these important partnerships, our children wouldn't be able to succeed they way they do in our schools.

I would like to wish all of our year 6 leavers the very best of luck as they embark on their next chapter. I am sure the future is very bright for them all.

Whatever you have planned for the Summer holiday period, I hope that you get chance to rest and spend time doing things you enjoy and I look forward to seeing everyone again in September!
