Program Overview Eastern University is competing in its first season of women’s wrestling and enters the MAC Championship with immediate national recognition. Head Coach Andrew Taylor is in his second season at Eastern University, serving as the head coach of the men’s wrestling program while guiding the women’s program through its inaugural campaign. Last season, Taylor helped three women qualify for the NCWWC National Championships, setting a strong foundation for the program’s debut year. National Ranking

Program Overview York College is in its third season of women’s wrestling, continuing to build depth and postseason success within the Middle Atlantic Conference. Coaching Staff Duane Bastress is in his 13th season as head wrestling coach at York College, overseeing the continued growth of the Spartan wrestling programs. Assistant coach Brian Gross enters his fourth season with the Spartan wrestling program and is responsible for leading the women’s wrestling team, which began competition during the 2023–24 academic year. Postseason Experience York qualified six wrestlers to the national championships last season, highlighting the program’s competitiveness and depth across multiple weight classes: Daisey Hawkins – 110 lbs.; Gisele Ramirez – 117 lbs.; Maura White – 138 lbs.; Kylie Monroe – 145 lbs.; Allison Brandt – 180 lbs.; Emma Lavalle – 207 lbs. Head Coach Cindy Calixto has led the Golden Wolves women’s wrestling program since its inception, providing stability and consistent leadership throughout the program’s development. Postseason Milestone Last season marked a historic step for Alvernia, as the program had its first wrestler compete at the NCWWC National Championships. Arcadia UNiversity Knights

Program Overview Arcadia University is competing in its first season of women’s wrestling, with the Knights beginning competition during the 2025–26 academic year. Head Coach Michael Childs was named the first head coach in program history in the spring of 2024. Childs brings extensive collegiate coaching experience to Arcadia, most recently serving as an assistant men’s wrestling coach for five seasons and an assistant women’s wrestling coach for two seasons at Ursinus College. Delaware Valley University Aggies

Program Overview Delaware Valley University is competing in its fifth season of women’s wrestling, bringing one of the more established programs in the conference into the inaugural MAC Women’s Wrestling Championship. Head Coach Mike Lammer took over as head coach in April, leading the program into a new chapter as it continues to build on its recent success at the national level. National Recognition Delaware Valley earned national recognition during the preseason last year, receiving a No. 25 national ranking, underscoring the program’s growing presence on the national stage. Postseason Experience The Aggies sent three wrestlers to the NCWWC National Championships last season: Jesenia Camargo – 103 pounds; Josey Wehr – 117 pounds; Sophia Pollack – 207 pounds
Misericordia University Cougars

Program Overview Misericordia University is competing in its second season of women’s wrestling, continuing to build its program as part of the MAC’s inaugural championship field. Head Coach Patrick Defoe enters his first season as head women’s wrestling coach at Misericordia University. Defoe spent last season as an assistant women’s wrestling coach at SUNY–Alfred, following three years as an assistant with the men’s program. During his time at Alfred State, Defoe coached 10 regional place-winners, including three national tournament qualifiers and one All-American on the men’s side. With the women’s program, he helped coach three regional place-winners and the program’s first national tournament qualifier, bringing proven postseason experience to Misericordia.
