Are you ready to elevate yourself both personally and professionally and expand your network ?

Explore Capitol Hill

Pro-Tip: Consider taking a scooter, Uber or Lyft to the far end of the mall and walking your way back.

Washington DC, our nation’s capital, is a beautiful walkable city. From the hotel you can easily walk to several FREE museums including:

The US Capitol Visitor’s Center – located on the east center of the Capitol building This is on the opposite side of the Capitol as you are leaving the hotel.

Union Station - three blocks to the left from the hotel. This is a restored beautiful building. Take note of the vaulted ceiling and the statues standing guard.

The National Gallery of Art. Constitution Ave. The west building was designed by IM Pei.

The Museum of American Art and the National Portrait. Beautiful, peaceful atrium.

American Indian Museum, 4th and Independence. Beautiful architecture. One of the best food courts in Washington.

African American History and Culture Museum, 1400 Constitution Ave. You will need a scooter or Uber/Lyft for this one. This is the newest museum in the Smithsonian.

Air and Space, the American History Museum and the Natural History Museum are also on the mall but a bit more of walk, as these are in the 1300 block of Constitution on one side of the mall, and in the same block on the Independence Ave side of the Mall.

Monuments along the Mall: The Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR, Vietnam, Korean Was, Martin Luther King and World War II memorials are all within walking distance of each other, but are a long walk from the hotel.

Each of us has been the “other.” Too proud. Too loud. Too much. Yet not enough. We’ve all been handed narratives based on the noise of the time. Roles that are begging to be rewritten. Scenes that keep us unseen. And lines that erase us.

Not anymore. We’re choosing our people over politics. We’re not waiting to bring our communities together. We’re telling our stories on our terms, and claiming our time as now.

They say strength is in numbers.

That’s why we’re uniting as one.

Are you feeling inspired by the the power we'll harness as we come together as One?

This two-day event, brought to you by Xerox in collaboration with all ten Xerox employee resource groups, promises to be a transformative experience. It will provide a platform to celebrate Xerox’s pioneering journey with ERGs, which spans an impressive six decades of innovation and progress. Together, we’ll honor our distinctive culture while also developing a deeper understanding of each other, learning from external best practices, and acquiring essential tools to amplify every voice within the Xerox team.

We're coming full-circle; our first ERG, the National Black Employees Association, held their first conference in DC 60 years ago, and The Women's Alliance held their first conference in DC in 1989. GALAXe had a first meeting at the March on Washington. We are returning to a foundational site where many of our organizations have risen and thrived.

There are two ways to experience the power of the One Conference:

  • A vibrant two-day, in-person event in the heart of Washington, D.C.
  • A 2-hour All of Us Together live, globally accessible broadcast (also available as a replay)

Whether you are a member of an ERG community, or an ally/advocate, mark your calendars now for this investment in your future. You’ll gain insights from executive interviews, enhance your skills through coaching sessions, grow through personal and professional development workshops, expand your networks, and much more!
