Let me just say, I believe in magic. I believe that your every-day life is full of magic and beauty. And most of all, I believe that my job is to show you the magic that is your family, in your own space, enjoying life as it is right now. Read on and let me tell you about what a session with me looks like, why you'll love them, and what you'll get from them. I promise it's worth it.

Where?
Most of the sessions with me, capturing the essence of you and your family, are held in the place where you create memories every single day - your home.
My sessions are almost exclusively in-home, meaning I come to your house or apartment, and capture you and your beautiful people in your space, surrounded by things that are meaningful to you.
Not only does this help everyone stay relaxed, calm and confident (exactly what we need to create those love-soaked images) but I strongly believe in the need to document ourselves in our current homes.
Using your home as the backdrop, I'll freeze time for you, in the most beautiful of ways. I'll give you memories that you didn't even know you needed. Let's give your children the memories of the dining table they did their homework at, and the bed they all piled into on Sunday morning, let's create stunning, stylish, joy-filled images of your family in your own special places.
What I do, and what I want to do for you, is to take a little snippet of your life, and show you the timeless beauty in it.
How?
On the day of the session, how does it work?
I’ll show-up with my bag of tricks, and head straight to get to know your children….they’re the ones I need to get on side after-all! I’ll also use this time to explore your home (during home sessions) so that I can find the best light and backgrounds. We’ll then spend an hour to an hour and a half just having fun and relaxing, whilst I capture memories for you. There is no pressure, and nothing forced. I do ‘direct’ you, in that I’ll place you in great light, and maybe ask you to look at certain people, hold hands a certain way or suggest some little kisses here and there. And I’ll even use a few games and tricks to get you relaxed and capture the real ‘you’. I always get one shot of everyone smiling at the camera (what I call the grandma shot), but other than that, this session is about your family interacting and enjoying themselves, and I’ll barely have any others with you all looking at the camera.
What happens if my child/pet dog/pet rabbit/husband doesn’t behave/has a tantrum?
These things happen. Show me a toddler that can make it through a two hour photo session without a melt-down, or a newborn baby that doesn’t wake up crying several times, and I’ll eat my hat! Your job is not to worry about this. Your job is to look calm, serene, and keep smiling throughout. My job is to capture the beauty within the chaos. To capture the real moments in an authentic yet beautiful way. Beyond that, I have several tricks up my sleeves that I use with toddlers (and adults sometimes too), to keep the peace, and keep everyone happy and looking like they love one another!
I hate myself in pictures, can you just focus on the children, and I’ll hide out of the way?
Ohhhh goodness, If I could tell you the number of mums who've said this to me! And my answer is always this: One - my job is to find the light and angles to make you look your very best, so please don't worry about that. Two - you may not love photographs of you now, but believe me, when you look back at those pictures in a few months/years/decades time, I guarantee you won’t see those extra few pounds that you want to lose, or some lines you don’t love, you’ll see a smiling happy mother, in love with her children and life. Who doesn’t want that? And if you don’t do it for you, please do it for your children…one day they’re going to want pictures of you, I guarantee it.
What is the difference between home and outdoor session?
I love sessions at home, I believe your place is worth documenting as a decor of your life, a witness that is important to keep a memory of.
But the sessions outside, especially at those places you love and spend time with your family a lot (hello beach at the lakeside), have lots to offer too.
The difference is that we all have to be a bit more organised (in terms of getting there), bit more prepared and we need a certain timing. As for me I will still focus on you as a family, your connection, your fun time together. No matter what background, what really matters is You.
If you are really stuck on where to do your session we can consider two shorter locations, at home and outside (at the lake, local park or playground).
Where are you based?
I am based in Mont-sur-Rolle which is in Switzerland half way between Lausanne and Geneva. But I do travel for my sessions within Switzerland and beyond. Just let me know when you are based and I am sure we can figure out a plan for your session.
Do you photograph on weekends?
Yes, we can schedule your family photoshoot on Sunday.
I need a professional headshot, can you do it during our family session?
If you need only one headshot, it indeed makes sense to do it at once, usually after your family session is done and your partner can take care of the little one(s). You’ll find the cost of such headshot in upgrades section.
How fast will I receive my photos?
I know you cannot wait to see your pictures! I have a very efficient workflow that allows me to deliver your gallery within only 10 working days from your shoot! In many cases you will receive the sneak peek in the form of slideshow even earlier.
Anything else we should know?
The main thing to keep in mind is that having your family photos taken is supposed to be a fun experience. Don't worry, don't over-tidy, and don't, whatever you do, stay up the night before worrying about it! I promise you, whatever happens, the whole experience is going to be great. People walk away from my sessions loved-up and connected because they've spent magical quality time together.

Photography is an investment. It's one of the few things that truly doesn't devalue over time.
My house is full of framed photographs, albums, and little prints stuck into the corners of mirrors and pinned on the fridge, and I have never once looked at them and regretted the investment I made in having photographers capture our family.
Our children are going to love these images they have of their family, just like we treasure those we have of ourselves with our parents.

The Small Print
Duration of the session is approximate, the actual session might be shorter or longer depending on various factors.
Pricing for all packages includes travel in cantons Vaud and Geneva - anything further than that please ask for a quote for travel costs.
Pricing for family sessions covers up to 6 people in the shoot. For larger groups please contact me to get a bespoke quote.
A non-refundable 50% deposit will be required to hold your session date, with full balance invoiced on the day of the session. For Bump to Baby packages the payment plan is: 30% deposit, 40% invoiced on the day of the first session and 30% balance on the day of the second session. I accept payments by bank transfer, Twint and credit cards.
The products in the packages are subject to change depending on the availability.
All prices are valid from January 2024 and are subject to change, and cannot be guaranteed until booking is made and retainer paid.
