Relieving Principal's Message
The Intensive Swimming Program wrapped up today, and it was amazing to see so many students actively participating and developing this lifelong skill. The pool staff shared excellent reports about the students, noting their dedication and progress throughout the program.
Last week, we celebrated Harmony Day, organised by the SRC. It was an incredible day, with students embracing the opportunity to dress up, and teachers facilitating a range of activities that complemented the theme of the day.
Next week, we look forward to our PBL Awards Assembly, where students will receive awards based on our school expectations and the PBL criteria. The assembly will take place at 1:15 pm on Monday, March 31st. Our SRC members and House Captains will also be receiving their badges during this event.
The Cross Country event is fast approaching! Students have been regularly building their stamina in preparation for the big event on Tuesday, April 1st. A big thank you to Mr. Butt and all the staff for their efforts in organising this event.
On Tuesday, April 8th, we will be holding a PBL Rewards Day, which will be a water based rewards day. This event will be organised in stage groups and will celebrate students who received an award during the PBL Awards Assembly. It will be a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and reward students for being safe, fair, and excellent learners.
Finally, on Wednesday, April 9th, we have our annual Crazy Hat Parade at 10:00 am in the School Hall. This is always a favourite event of mine, and I’m excited to see the creative and fun hats that students bring in. Correspondence has already been sent out regarding this event, and we can’t wait to see the amazing array of designs that will fill the hall.
