Oracy Assembly - We focused on AI in our oracy assembly this week. We understood that AI stood for artificial intelligence and looked at ways it can help us. We then discussed ways it could be dangerous and how to use it safely.
Raising Readers - On Wednesday, we were lucky enough to take part in a project called 'Raising Readers'. This was our first session with the group, where the children listened to a story, made bookmarks, met people who worked with books and received their own free book!
Science Club - The children who go to Science club learned all about earthquakes this week. We looked at different levels of earthquakes and whether they were dangerous or not. Then, we worked in teams to build a sturdy building before testing if it would survive an earthquake.
Science - We celebrated Science week! This year's theme was curiousity, and we had the job of looking for critters. We created a home for our insects with a clear top so that we could observe. Then, we went searching for our curious critters!
Library - Every 2 weeks, we visit the school library for some quiet time. The children love this time to read their own books!
