Celebrations & Achievements

Kaneland Elementary students visited Heaps Pumpkin Farm. At the farm, students participated in a science lesson featuring the life cycle of a pumpkin seed.

Tim Shields (grandson of John Shields) and his wife were in town visiting and stopped by to see the school named for his grandfather. They were very impressed by the school and loved the "bright, fun bulletin boards."

Kaneland Board

The next regular Kaneland Board of Education meeting takes place on Monday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Kaneland Harter Middle School. The Finance/Facility & Community Engagement Committees will meet at 6:00 PM prior to the board meeting. These meetings are open to the public. Watch the meeting live by clicking on "Live Stream" in the Board of Education section on our website.

The Core Planning Committees, comprised of community and staff members, continue to meet every other week to review and discuss various elements of the projects approved by the referendum.
