CINE

This week, CINE featured a thesis film created by Sara Elizabeth McNeal, a student majoring in Film Production and Content Development. Titled Come Back Home, McNeal's film follows Chloe as she navigates the aftermath of her mother's disappearance and embarks on a journey of introspection and revelation. Through this experience, Chloe discovers the genuine bonds of care and ultimately returns back home. McNeal's film will be featured at the Student Showcase in May.

THEA

Titanic opens tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Tower Theater! Many hands are needed behind-the-scenes to make a production like this come to life. Paige Wilson is the stage manager for Titanic and a senior in the Theatre Arts program. Paige is responsible for organizing and communicating information to students, faculty, technical staff, and the orchestra to ensure that everything comes together for opening night. She is often the first to arrive and the last to leave each day, but she believes that "the long hours all pay off when we get to share this story with the world."

The Forensics Team had a successful weekend of competition last weekend (Feb. 10-11). They competed in the Spring Virginia is for Lovers Competition at George Mason University. Collectively, team members garnered more than twenty awards in many different categories. This particular competition is the most rigorous in our region and prepared the team well for nationals in March.
