Project Description:

The Fort Bend Epicenter is truly a landmark within the Fort Bend community and the greater Houston area. The Epicenter is located in Harris County’s geographic center (from which the name “Epicenter” comes), and is a one-stop shop for the local and regional community. As an economic and commercial asset, supporting a wide range of programming, the facility will truly change the lives of Fort Bend residents who previously had to travel into Houston — or beyond — for many of the types of activities that the Epicenter now hosts, whether that be youth sports, civic service, fine arts performances, concerts, trade shows and more. It will also serve as a safe haven during any natural disasters, providing shelter and resources for displaced residents.

Sited on 51 acres, the 230,000-square-foot Epicenter features a versatile event floor designed to host a variety of events, including graduations, sports and recreation, spectator events, community/civic events, livestock and equestrian shows, festivals and fairs, and conferences. The 170,000-square-foot arena and multipurpose floor are side by side and can be used separately or combined to suit any sporting event or large assembly.

The 10,000-seat Epicenter features an open concourse that allows the spectator a continuous connection to the event. A VIP Lounge is located opposite from the performance stage, giving spectators a unique premium experience, and a 5,500-square-foot conference center can be divided into three meeting rooms or utilized as one single ballroom. The facility also includes an outdoor, 34,500-square-foot pavilion for agricultural events, outdoor sporting and other activities.
