First introduced in 2022, The URSPYS serves as the final gathering of the academic year for all Ursinus student-athletes, athletics staff, and other campus partners. The goal of the event is to showcase the achievements and milestones of our student-athletes and to honor our seniors. Modeled after popular award shows such as the ESPYS and the Grammy’s, the URSPYS has become one of the most anticipated events of the academic year where everyone comes together to celebrate what it means to be an Ursinus Bear!

Senior Female MVP
Chinwe Irondi - Women's Basketball
Ursinus Women’s Basketball Chinwe Irondi was named the Female Senior MVP after completing a tremendous career as a Bear. She became just the third player in Centennial Conference history to become a four-time first team all-conference selection. She wrapped up and outstanding career by ranking second all-time in program history with 1,818 points and 1,015 career rebounds.

Chinwe Irondi - Women's Basketball
Ursinus Women’s Basketball Chinwe Irondi was the Most Outstanding Athlete in a Female Sport behind a historic season that saw her earn All-American Honorable Mention honors and be named the Centennial Conference Player of the Year. Irondi led the Centennial Conference in points, rebounds, and field-goal percentage.
Most Outstanding Male Athlete
Tony Holden - Football
Ursinus Football's Tony Holden was named the Most Outstanding Male Athlete for 2024-25 following a one of the best seasons ever completed by an Ursinus running back. Holden earned D3football.com All-Region third team honors and was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year plus garnering All-Centennial First Team honors. He was 10th in NCAA Division III with 1,316 rushing yards and 15th in touchdowns while yarding the Centennial in both categories.
Female Rookie of the Year
Olivia Guy - Women's Wrestling
Ursinus Women’s Wrestling standout first-year Olivia Guy won the Female Rookie of the Year after a stellar first collegiate season. She posted a 24-11 record, ranked third on the team with 17 falls, and qualified for the NCWWC National Championships. Guy placed second at the PA Collegiate Championships and earned silver at the NCWWC Region II Championships.
Male Rookie of the Year
Mitchell Davis - Men's Track & Field
Ursinus Men's Track & Field's Mitchell Davis had a historic first-year season for the Bears that saw him win the Male Rookie of the Year Award. Davis earned Second Team All-American honors in the pole vault at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, swept the Centennial Conference titles between the indoor and outdoor seasons. He was named the Centennial Conference Indoor Field Athlete of the Year, holds the school records in both events, and took first at the Metro Regional.
Maeve Montgomery - Field Hockey
Named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year, All-Centennial First Team, First Team NFHCA Region V, and Third Team All-American. Recorded six defensive saves on the season and ranked fourth on the team with 10 points behind four goals and two assists.
